Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Fourwall collects when you use fourwall.builders, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have over it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Fourwall is an independent UK platform for comparing padel court builders and build costs. For the purposes of UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018), Fourwall is the controller of the personal information described here.
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email hello@fourwall.builders.
What we collect
When you join the list
Your name and email address, and, if you choose to give them, the type of organisation you're planning for, how many courts you're considering and your town or postcode.
When you claim a builder listing
Your company name, your name and work email, and, if you choose to give them, a phone number, your website, the build types you offer and the regions you cover.
When you email us
Your email address, your name if you include it and anything you choose to tell us.
When you visit the site
Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information in its server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use this only to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it, and why we're allowed to
- To email you about the launch of Fourwall, the cost guide and the builder shortlist, if you've joined the list. We rely on your consent, which you give with the tick box on the form and can withdraw at any time.
- To contact you about a founding listing, if you've claimed one. We rely on your consent, given with the tick box on the form.
- To understand demand by region and project type, so we can shape the service. We use the optional project details for this, relying on our legitimate interests in planning the service.
- To reply to emails you send us, and to keep the website secure. We rely on our legitimate interests in running the business and protecting the site.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for automated decisions that affect you.
Cookies and tracking
This site doesn't set any cookies and doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers. If that changes, we'll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with service providers who help us run Fourwall, and only as much as they need:
- Website hosting: Porkbun hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
- Form handling: Web3Forms receives what you enter into our forms and forwards it to our mailbox by email. It keeps a copy for a limited time under its own privacy policy.
- Email: the provider that runs our mailbox stores the messages and form details that reach us.
We won't pass your details to any padel court builder without asking you first. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based in, or use servers in, the United States. Where your information leaves the UK, we rely on the protections UK law provides, such as the UK–US data bridge or the UK's approved contract clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them, and in any case for no longer than two years after we were last in touch with you. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period in line with its own policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
- have inaccurate information corrected
- have your information deleted
- restrict or object to how we use it
- receive your information in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, which won't affect anything we did before you withdrew it
To use any of these rights, email hello@fourwall.builders. It's free, and we'll reply within one month. Every email we send about the launch includes a way to unsubscribe.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your information safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to your information to the people who need it to run Fourwall.
Children
Fourwall is for organisations and adults planning or building padel courts. It isn't aimed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect children's information.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell people on the list by email.
